Welcome Allentown, Pennsylvania!

Little Archie's Clubhouse proudly announces the grand opening of the newly licensed Day Care Center of Allentown, Pennsylvania located at 635 W. Turner Street between 6th and 7th Streets. We offer quality early childhood education, infant childcare and the uninhibited tender love and care that we believe all children deserve in a clean, safe, Christian environment.

We bring over 7 years of exemplary service experience and will prepare your little ones for life in the "big school"! We believe that learning begins at birth; that newborn's minds are the tabula rasa (clean slate)  just waiting to be filled with information so we offer fun-filled, age-appropriate academic learning experiences for all groups including, infants, toddlers, Pre-K, and school-aged up to age 12 for expert after-school tutoring and homework assistance.

The experience at Little Archie's Clubhouse will leave a lasting impression on all of our children as they grow and develop through the amazing journey of early childhood education and matriculate into life-long learners.

For inquiries, Our phone number is 610-351-2541 our Email address is littlearchie256@gmail.com.  Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7am - 6pm.

Why is Early Childhood Education Important?
  • Far too many children enter school not prepared.
  • When unprepared children begin school behind, they tend to fall further and further behind.
  • Children who are at risk of not doing well in school gain significant benefits from quality childcare.
  • All children need to enter school ready and able to succeed.
Cognitively:
  • Improves school performance
  • Raises math and language abilities
  • Sharpens thinking/attention skills
  • Reduces special education placement
  • Lowers school drop out rates
Socially and emotionally:
  • Improves and strengthen interactions with peers
  • Decreases problem behaviors
  • Encourages more exploratory behavior
  • Helps adjustment to the demands of formal schooling
Long-term positive results and cost savings of Early Childhood Education:
  • Increases lifelong earning potential
  • Achieves better academic outcomes
  • Lowers rates of teen pregnancy and incarceration
  • Improves recruitment and retention of parents who work

FEBRUARY THEMES

LOVE IN THE MAIL

Valentine’s day is a day for sending love. One way to do that is
in the mail! With this month's theme, your toddler and preschooler will explore how mail gets from one place to another.

WHAT BIG TEETH YOU HAVE!

Fairy Tales can be a fun way to teach preschoolers important skills; such as not to talk to strangers! This month's theme will also use one of the fairy tales as a springboard for some important lessons
on dental health.

January 2013

Welcome to 2013!

January themes:

Snow Days!

This month our little scholars are exploring the wonder of winter and discovering what fun things can be done on snowy days! What kinds of clothing are worn during cold, blistering snowy days? What parts of the world always have snowy days? What parts of the world never have snow or cold days and why not?

Day and Night

Our science theme focuses on the differences between day and night.  What do we see in the sky during the day? Where did these things come from? What happens to them at night? What interesting things do we see in the sky at night? What happens way up there?

December to Remember

** Parents

Please know that we appreciate our cultural differences but do ask for your kind participation in our annual gift-giving incentive.  Each child will purchase or provide a gift for one of the other children, by Friday, December 21, 2012.

We will demonstrate the warmth of giving and love for humanity in conjunction with our individual beliefs. The names and information for your child's gift partner is included in their November, end-of-the-month package.

Thank you for your participation

DECEMBER THEMES

RHYME TIMES

Children love to play with words and what better way than with a rhyme? Rhyming is not only fun, it is an important pre-reading skill. This month we will meet some classic characters from the world of RHYME.

CELEBRATING THE SEASON

Bright lights, fun foods, singing songs and pretty packages ... December is an exciting time for preschoolers to celebrate family traditions from around the world.  There is even a gift project included!

Election Day!

Election Day at Little Archie's Clubhouse

Today we learned about the process of election in the United States of America. Our scholars celebrated the four year tenure of, who they affectionately called, "Rockabama" and asked questions about the incumbant, "Mitty".

We had an election for President of Little Archie's.  The winner would be President for the next 4 days! The candidates were determined by their ability to identify the most alphabet letters and numbers .... and the winners were:

Aaron Benjamin and Janasia Perrin

Each candidate shared what they would do to make Little Archie's a better place;

The children discussed their options and placed their ballots; "J" for Janasia and "A" for Aaron

Janasia's promise for more snacks and more play-time clinched the election for her and she became President of Little Archie's Clubhouse

Congratulations Janasia Perrin
